This privacy notice explains how Eolas Technologies Limited (CRO 485390), trading as CommsBuyer.ie, collects and uses your personal data when you use this site or buy from us. We are the data controller.

What we collect
- Order & account data: name, billing/delivery address, email, phone, order history; account login (if you create one).
- Trade enquiry / RMA / contact data: what you send us in a form, quote request or email.
- Payment data: card payments are handled by Stripe — we receive confirmation and limited details (e.g. last 4 digits), not your full card number.
- Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser info, and (only with your consent) analytics about how the site is used. See the Cookies page.

Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract: Stripe (payments), our courier partner(s) (delivery), our website hosting provider, and our email provider. We may disclose data where required by law (e.g. Revenue).
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
How long we keep it
- Order, invoice and tax records: as required by Irish tax law (generally 6 years).
- Account data: while your account is active, then deleted/anonymised.
- Enquiry/support correspondence: typically up to 24 months unless tied to an order.
- Analytics/consent records: per the Cookies page.
Your rights (GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@commsbuyer.ie.
