These terms cover orders placed through CommsBuyer.ie. The seller is Eolas Technologies Limited (CRO 485390, VAT IE 7958795C), trading as CommsBuyer.ie, Unit J7, Ballymount Drive, Walkinstown, Dublin 12, D12 AK13. We sell and deliver within the Republic of Ireland only.
Business and consumer customers
We supply both trade/business customers and consumers. Some rights below (e.g. the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation) apply only to consumers buying outside their trade, business or profession. Business/trade purchases are on the terms set out here, without the consumer distance-selling rights.
Pricing and VAT
- Prices in product listings are shown ex-VAT (with the inc-VAT figure alongside). Irish VAT at 23% is applied at checkout.
- A full Irish VAT invoice is included with every order.
- We try to keep prices and stock accurate, but if a genuine pricing or description error is found we may cancel or correct the order before dispatch and refund you in full.
Placing an order
Adding items to your basket and paying places an order; this is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept the order by dispatching the goods (or by emailing acceptance). An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt — it is not, by itself, acceptance.
Payment
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don’t store full card details. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
Delivery
- We ship from our Walkinstown warehouse to addresses in the Republic of Ireland only.
- In-stock items ordered before 3pm on a working day are dispatched the same day for next-business-day delivery via our courier partners.
- Shipping charges and any free-shipping threshold are shown at checkout.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your order on arrival and report any damage or shortage within 48 hours (see Returns & Refunds).
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your cancellation and return rights — including the consumer 14-day cooling-off period, and how damaged/incorrect items are handled — are set out in the Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Warranties
Goods are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable, and by your statutory rights. For consumers, goods must be of merchantable quality, fit for purpose and as described under Irish consumer law.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, business or installation costs). Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or a consumer’s statutory rights).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland; the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. Consumers may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
